An exiled Russian Jewish leader said he would withdraw from Russian politics and focus on his Jewish charity projects. Leonid Nevzlin, a former oil executive with Yukos, made his comments last Friday in an interview published in Izevistiya, a Moscow daily newspaper. Nevzlin, who emigrated to Israel last year, said he would spend much of his time supporting and developing Jewish academic projects in Russia and Israel.
