An international committee headed by former U.S. Sen. George Mitchell that plans to investigate the causes of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian violence is due to arrive in the region Monday for talks with Israeli and Palestinian leaders. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported that Israel is preparing evidence to persuade the panel that the Palestinian Authority is responsible for encouraging the violence.
