An international Jewish official pressed Argentina’s president to help solve the 1994 bombing of a Jewish center. The chairman of the World Jewish Congress, Rabbi Israel Singer, pressed Nestor Kirchner late last week on the issue of the car bombing that destroyed the Buenos Aires headquarters of AMIA, the country’s largest Jewish institution, and killed 85 people.
