An Israeli and a Palestinian artist were the first recipients of a peace prize that Yoko Ono created in memory of husband John Lennon. On Wednesday, Ono presented $50,000 checks to Zvi Goldstein and Khalil Rabah, and thanked them “for being so creative and inspirational despite the intense political situation we all live in.”
