An Israeli Arab lawmaker under investigation for visiting Syria was unrepentant. Azmi Bishara, who is on an unauthorized visit to Damascus with two colleagues from the Knesset’s Balad faction, said in an interview published Monday in the Arabic newspaper Al-Hayat that he is “willing to pay the price” for defying Israeli law.
