An Israeli Arab was sentenced to 10 years in jail after a plea bargain in which he admitted to helping plan a failed Hamas bombing earlier this year. Mohammed Khatib acknowledged that he had helped Palestinian militants plan a bombing attack near Tel Aviv. The bombing was foiled in March, when Israeli police surrounded a home in the Israeli Arab city of Taibeh, where the police had found a Hamas cell.
