An Israeli delegation joined foreign firefighters helping tackle massive blazes in Greece.
Fifty-one Israeli firefighters flew out Monday to Greece, where scores of people have died from forest-fires raging since the weekend. The Israeli delegation was expected to spend several days helping local counterparts where needed.
Israel acquired enhanced knowledge on fighting forest-fires during last year’s Lebanon war, when Hezbollah missiles set large swathes of Galilee land ablaze.
