An Israeli newspaper publisher was sentenced to eight months in prison for ordering illegal wiretaps as part of a circulation war with rival Israeli tabloid Yediot Achronot. Ma’ariv publisher Ofer Nimrodi was also fined more than $300,000. He is due to begin serving the sentence in October.
