Hamas gunmen set off a land mine Tuesday as Israeli troops searched a chicken coop near Gaza’s Karni Crossing, killing a soldier and his bomb-sniffing dog and wounding four other soldiers. Israeli forces mounted a pursuit, killing at least two terrorists in airstrikes.
