An Israeli soldier was stabbed by a Palestinian at a West Bank checkpoint.
The soldier was stabbed in the back of the neck Tuesday evening near Jenin. Other soldiers stationed at the checkpoint captured the assailant.
The stabber said he was acting on behalf of Islamic Jihad.
