An Israeli street sign honoring a former New York City mayor was fixed, but incorrectly. The sign in Tel Aviv honoring Fiorello LaGuardia, mayor of New York City between 1933 and 1945, long has read “LaGardia.” It was changed recently to “LaGvardia.” Tel Aviv officials have promised to get it right.
