An Israeli town unveiled a radar system meant to protect its residents from Palestinian rockets. The Ma’anim system was unveiled in Sderot on Tuesday after being quietly introduced for field testing last month. Officials said they were confident the radar would succeed in spotting rocket launches from the nearby Gaza Strip and giving Sderot residents 25 seconds to take cover.
