An Israeli woman who heads an anti-sex trafficking operation won an international award. Rita Chaikin heads the anti-trafficking project for the Isha L’Isha feminist center. She was honored April 27 in Washington by “Vital Voices,” a bipartisan U.S. group that promotes women’s leadership. Sens. Kay Bailey Hutchinson (R-Texas) and Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) chaired the event.
