An official reception in honor of Chaim Nachman Bialik, the Hebew poet laureate, and the other Jewish writers who arrived here recently, is being arranged by the Vaad Leumi, the national council of Palestinian Jews. Many prominent speakers addressed the meeting, held for the purpose of arranging the reception, yesterday.
The audience, at the same time, took occasion to honor the memory of Lord Byron, by rising from their seats for a few minutes.
