Anglo-American interests have asked the Kingdom of Jordan for a concession to exploit the mineral wealth of the Dead Sea, the London Daily Telegraph reported from Amman today. It said the government asked the companies to submit plans after which the government will decide whether to permit exploitation by foreign interests or by a national company.
