Approximately 2,000 persons attended a protest meeting at Carnegie Hall tonight organized by the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League in connection with the fifth anniversary of Hitler’s rise to power in Germany. Scheduled speakers were Dr. William E. Taylor, dean of Howard Law School; William E. Dodd, former Ambassador to Germany, by telephone from Washington; Representative Hamilton Fish Jr. Oswald Garrison Villard, Vito Marcantonio, Prof. Franz Boas, Heinz Liepmann, Ludwig Renn, Jeremiah T. Mahoney, Johannes Steel and Ernest L. Meyer.
