Many anti-Jewish incidents have occurred recently at the German University here , particularly in the Medical Faculty. A statement issued by four German democratic organizations declares: “On several occasions professors have been greeted by uniformed students with the Hitler salute. Pamphlets of an anti-Semitic character have also been distributed during the lectures. During one of the lectures of Professor Cermak, the Sudeten German students occupied the entire right-hand side of the lecture rooms and told the Jewish students to occupy the ‘ghetto benches.”
The German democratic organizations have lodged a protest against these occurrences with the rector of the University and the Minister of Education.
