Anti-Semitic propaganda aimed at college students in Austria especially in the Vienna area, has prompted Israeli representatives of the World Jewish Congress to express their concern to the Austrian Ambassador to Israel. Itzhak Koren, chairman of the Israeli Executive of the WJC and Dr. Nathan Lerner, its general director, cited the activities of the new neo-Nazi group Aktion Neue Recht (Action New Right) which has been distributing virulent anti-Semitic and neo-Nazi propaganda among students and teachers. They appealed to the ambassador to urge the Austrian government to invoke a law which bans racist and neo-Nazi movements in Austria. The ambassador promised to relay the message to his government.
