Anti-Semitism is endemic to the Muslim world, a U.S.-based Muslim scholar said. Interviewed Monday at the International Conference on the Global Dimensions of Contemporary Anti-Semitism in Montreal, Khaleel Mohammed said anti-Semitism has become part of Islamic theology so that even the average Muslim learns anti-Semitism in a subtle form. Other Muslim leaders criticized the remarks by Mohammed, an assistant professor of religion at San Diego State University.
