Anti-Zionist trends have recently come to the surface in two popular Rumanian political parties with a large membership among the Jewish population.

At the latest meeting of the central committee of the National Popular Party Dr. Constantin Dimitriu, secretary-general of the party, warned the Jewish members not to fall for propaganda which is attempting to appeal to their nationalist feel-lags for the Jews of Rumania lies in cooperating with the entire working class of the country. This statement followed a resolution adopted by the Rumanian Workers Party which committed party member to “fighting energetically the nationalist-reactionary ardency among the Jewish population.”
