In the course of a report that appeared in yesterday’s Bulletin Albert Hyamson, Chief Immigration Officer in Jerusalem, was referred to as a converted Jew. This statement is absolutely wrong. The cable referred to M. Abramson, Land Director, who was also mentioned in the report. A regrettable typographical error caused the interchange of names. Albert Hyamson is a conforming Jew. We herewith tender our sincere apology to him and his relatives.
