Milton M. Golden, Assemblyman from Los Angeles, was appointed Assistant Food Administrator by Governor James Rolph, Jr., on the recently organized group to help disseminate surplus farm products and other food stuffs to the unemployed in California.

Mr. Golden is now a candidate for Congress from his district.
