Sheikh Mohammed All Jaabari, Mayor of Hebron, told a visiting delegation of the Canadian United Jewish Appeal that the Arab governments were to blame for the calamity that befell the Arab world. Replying to a series of questions, he said Arab leaders were ignorant if they thought they could eliminate Israel. “It is here to stay,” he said.
