Commenting on the statement of Dr. Chaim Weizmann that the Jews will seek an Arab-Jewish understanding after receiving indemnity for the losses suffered, the Arab paper “Felestin” declares that an understanding is impossible as long as the Balfour Declaration exists.

“Lord Balfour and his friends are responsible for the blood of Arabs and Jews already shed and that is bound to be shed in the future on the land sacred to Moslems and Christians,” the paper declares.

An English edition of the “Felestin” is to appear today. The Arabs are also proposing to publish a book alleging Jewish atrocities against the Arabs.
