Arab Leader Urges Jews and Arabs to Unite for Peace

“Now is the time to toll the bells of peace and it is the duty of the Arabs and Jews to meet and settle political and religious questions along the lines of the teachings of Moses and Mohammed,” writes Nassor El Taher, an Arab leader from Nablus, writing in the Arab paper, “El Salaam.”

He asks that there “be an end to bloodshed instigated by the professed leaders of the people seeking their own interests.”
