Israel lodged today a formal complaint with the Israel Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission over a raid from Jordan in which Arab terrorists sabotaged an electric transformer. Israel accused Jordan of a breach of the armistice agreement.

The transformer was knocked out of action, apparently by explosives placed by the raiders. The unit FET power to a water pumping station four miles west of the Dead Sea. Israeli trackers found footprints of two men leading from the Jordanian border to the scene and back to Jordan.
