Arabs Ask Aid of Jews in Labor Struggle

A plea for the cooperation of Jewish workers in a labor struggle which developed here was made by leaders of the Arab workmen.

Seventy Arab workers employed in the cigarette factory, Mavruk, went on strike when the owners introduced a twelve hour day.

The Jewish Workers’ Council of Haifa has undertaken to mediate in the dispute.
