Israel today lodged a strong protest with the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Committee against a raid by a band of Arab infiltrees who stole a quantity of arms and ammunition near Jerusalem last night.
Late last night a band of some 10 Arabs attacked an arms depot near here and, after an exchange of fire with the Israeli guards, broke into the building and made off with a quantity of weapons and ammunition. It was also announced today that the Mixed Armistice Commission has found Jordan responsible for two new violations of the armistice agreement.
