Archaeological finds were reported during recent building activity in the Valley of Jezreel on the land of the Jewish National Fund and the American Zion Commonwealth. Various ancient historic pieces were unearthed, including coins, vessels and weapons. These finds, mostly of Jewish origin, date from the period of the Hebrew Kings.

The Jewish Archaeological Society has issued an appeal to the Jewish inhabitants and workmen asking them to exercise great care with all finds and to notify the Society immediately of all discoveries.
