Archaeologists uncovered artifacts they believe are remnants of the first return to Zion from exile, 2,500 years ago. A Babylonian stamp bearing the figure of a priest worshiping the moon god, beads, a stick used for applying makeup, an alabaster bowl, a pendant, bronze mirrors, a necklace and an oil lamp were uncovered in a cave near Ein Gedi, by the Dead Sea.
