Dr. Jose Arce, Argentine delegate to the United Nationals who was elected president of the Special Palestine session of the General Assembly Friday by a bloc of Latin American and Arab states votes, received a Jewish delegation here recently in connection with the Palestine question, it was reported today.
An announcement by the DAIA, central Jewish representative today in Argentine, disclosed that the delegation comprising Dr. Moises Goldman, honorary president of DAIA, Samual Rabinovich, president of the Zionist Federation, and Dr. Leon Dujovne met with Arce on the latter’s visit here and discussed the Palestine problem with him.
The DAIA announcement said that Arce was “very friendly” to the delegation, but it was learned that he made no promises to the Jews concerning Palestine.
