Argentine Jewish leaders are calling on authorities to prosecute soccer fans who chanted Nazi slogans and hurled soap bars at a Jewish team. The incident in late February, at which fans chanted, “We’re going to make soap out of the Jews,” came just before Jewish leader Rogelio Cicholowsky gave a report on anti-Semitism to Argentina’s new president, Fernando de la Rua.
