President Juan D. Peron extended “a cordial and friendly greeting” on the occasion of the Jewish New Year to the “great Jewish family which collaborates, with devotion and dedication, in the common task for the consolidation of the achievements of the new Argentina.”
He voiced the hope that “the New Year will give it the happiness which we wish for all who contribute by their efforts to the prosperity and grandeur of this land of peace and labor.”
The President issued the message through Rabbi Dr. Ameram Blum, highest Jewish religious authority in Buenos Aires, when he received him in special audience.
