Argentine Raises Visa Price to Restrict Immigration

In order to restrict immigration to the Argentine the government today issued a telegraphic decree to all its European consuls ordering them to raise the price of visas to $33.00. The government also asked its consuls to inform all prospective immigrants of the difficulties of obtaining employment in the Argentine due to unemployment and the economic crisis.
