Argentine Ready to Admit Refugees

The government of Argentine is sympathetic towards the admission of a number of German-Jewish refugees from Europe, James G. McDonald, the High Commissioner for Refugees from Germany, announced here yesterday, after deliberations with Argentine officials over a period of three weeks.

Mr. McDonald said that the negotiations have not yet been completed. He left yesterday for Montevideo and from there he will proceed to Rio de Janeiro
