Ariel Sharon breaks even in support and opposition among U.S. voters. A Zogby international poll on the eve of the Israeli prime minister’s meeting with President Bush last week showed 35 percent giving Sharon a negative rating and 34 percent giving him a favorable rating. More Republicans than Democrats rated him favorably — 49 percent to 25 percent — in the poll, which had a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
