Ariel Sharon is committed to the “road map”, the White House said. White House spokesman Scott McClellan was asked to respond to the Israeli Prime Minister’s New Year interview with an Israeli newspaper, in which he said he did not necessarily see his planned pullout from the Gaza Strip as part of the U.S.-driven “road map” peace plan.
