Ariel Sharon is sticking to agreed-upon conditions for relaunching the peace process. At a news conference Sunday after he met with a high-level E.U. delegation, Israel’s prime minister reiterated that there would have to be a seven-day cessation of Palestinian terrorism and incitement before the two sides could begin confidence-building measures.
