Ariel Sharon said he would not drop his demand for a week without Palestinian attacks before launching a U.S. truce plan. “It will be seven days, not one hour less,” the Israeli prime minister said Thursday. He also reiterated that U.S. leaders earlier this year consented to his demand for a week of calm.
