Ariel Sharon said terror is down because of pressure put on Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat. In remarks broadcast on Israel Radio, the Israeli prime minister repeated that as long as terror continues, there would not be diplomatic negotiations with the Palestinians, only contacts on arranging a cease-fire.
