Arrest of a number of Egyptian Arabs followed an attempt at incitement during prayers yesterday, the Moslem Sabbath.

Proclamations containing inciting, libelous charges against the Jews were distributed in the Mosque here yesterday while the Moslems were at prayer.

The authorities immediately confiscated the inciting literature and arrested a number of those distributing it.

Declaring that the slightest alteration in the status of the Moslem Holy Places in Palestine would excite the fury of Moslems the world over, the Committee of Young Moslems of Cairo addressed a letter of warning to the Commission of Inquiry. The Arabs of the world would under no circumstances agree to any change in the status of the Holy Places, they declare.

The Committee added that the Moslem world has entrusted the Arab Holy Places in Palestine to the hands of the Palestine Arabs.
