An exhibition of drawings by Bedrich Fritta depicting the suffering of the Jews interned in the Theresienstadt concentration camp opened here today at the Jewish "Ben Uri" art gallery.
Although Fritta perished in the camp, his drawings were saved by fellow inmates who buried them until the liberation. Czech Ambassador Dr. Frantisek Kratochvil, who opened the exhibition today, paid tribute to the memory of the 150,000 Jews who were murdered in Theresienstadt.
