Artur Rubinstein, the concert pianist, has been officially admitted to the French Academy of Arts to which he was elected last spring. The Academy hall was filled with hundreds of well-wishers including some of France’s foremost personalities. Rubinstein has lived in France for many years and is a member of the Legion of Honor.
