Asserts on House Floor Liquor Business “controlled by Jews”

In opposing a liquor taxes bill on the House floor late yesterday, Claude A. Fuller (Dem., Arkansas) charged that the liquor business was “controlled by Jews.” John D. Dingell (Dem., Michigan) attacked the speech as “bigotry” and said the bill should be passed as a “rebuke” to Mr. Fuller’s address.
