At least two Jewish Canadians are among those receiving the Order of Canada as announced in the recent list by Governor General Edward Schreyer, Martin Goodman, 46, journalist and president of the Toronto Star, Canada’s largest daily newspaper, was named a member of the Order. Sydney Newman, 62, film maker, was named an officer of the Order.
