Philip Masel, Editor of the Westralian Judean and Perth correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, has volunteered for military service and is at present in Melbourne undergoing a specialist’s training as an officer of the Australian Imperial Force. Lieutenant Masel has edited Western Australia’s only Jewish newspaper for the past eleven years.
