The State Department announced today it has been informed that the duties of the Austrian consular officials at Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles, St. Louis and San Juan (P.R.) have been discontinued. Dr. Friedrich Fischerauer, Austrian Consul-General in New York, and Dr. Arno Halusa, Vice-Consul, have been assigned to the German consular staff in New York.
