The question of the Vienna Palestine office here has been provisionally settled, Joseph Baratz, Palestine labor leader and a delegate of the Zionist Executive has informed the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. According to the terms of the settlement Dr. Horowitz, chairman of the Palestine office in Vienna has agreed to accept as workers representatives, two proposed by the World Zionist Executive.

Previously the workers representatives in the Palestine office in Vienna had been ousted in conformity with the policy of the Dollfuss regime. At the recent meeting of the Actions Committee in Jerusalem protests made by the Histadruth led to a decision to close the Palestine office in Vienna as long as the workers were denied representation and not to send immigration certificates to Austria.

Baratz informed the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that he had requested a larger number of immigration certificates for Austrian Jews in view of the present political situation in which the Austrian Jews find themselves.
