Representatives of the Austrian government welcomed delegates to the conference of the Zionist Revisionist party in Austria, which opened here yesterday.
The conference was addressed by Dr. Wolfgang von Weisl, one of the pillars of the world Revisionist movement and member of the World Revisionist Executive. Dr. Weisl spoke on the political situation of world Jewry in connection with Jewish ambitions in Palestine.
The membership of the Revisionist party in Austria has tripled during the past year, it was reported at the opening session by Dr. Perl. Fifty thousand signatures have been obtained for the Revisionist petition to the Palestine mandatory power, Dr. Perl stated.
