M. Joffe, one of the oldest Hebrew writers in Russia, and author of the perpetual Hebrew calendar, died in Smolensk at the age of 74.
Mr. Joffe was a famous mathematician and was one of the early collaborators of the Hebrew daily. “Ha’ Zephira.”
